Empowering Teachers for Inclusive Education At TUTOR, our mission is to empower teachers and student teachers to create classrooms that are inclusive and celebrate diversity. MILES Partners Meet in Lisbon to Drive Media Literacy in the Education field forward On 19th July 2024, MILES partnership gathered in Lisbon to discuss key steps in promoting media literacy and tackling disinformation across Europe. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration, planning upcoming training, and refining strategies for wider dissemination. Together, we are shaping a digitally literate and resilient future! How is disinformation affecting education in your country? This is one of the questions the partners of the MILES project are addressing in their initial investigations. During the recent International Workshop in Lisbon, they explored ways to promote digital literacy and critical thinking among educators while aiming to develop training specifically for teachers to empower them to tackle the challenges of fake news in the classroom.
