MILE – Integration of Migrants into the Labour Market in Times of Corona
die Berater® has taken over the role of the Austrian project partner in the transnational AMIF project MILE. The main project activities are being carried out in the Innsbruck branch of die Berater®.
We contact employers to provide voluntary internships to learn about the labour market, organise matching with job-seeking migrants, conduct competence assessments and soft skills development activities, provide technical training and support migrants when entering the labour market. To achieve sustainable impact, we network and work closely with integration and labour market actors in the project.
All this is now to be made ready for take-off in a short time, the first courses are to start in February…. No easy task for the project team in Innsbruck in view of the lockdown and contact restrictions. But the first participants have already been recruited and networking activities are in full swing.
