How TUTOR and EU Initiatives Foster Equality and Inclusion Across Europe

According to Article 14 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, everyone has the right to education and access to vocational and continuing training.

The European Union places great emphasis on multiculturalism, language acquisition, and the exchange of learners and educators.

These priorities were reaffirmed at the European Education Summit 2023, where the role of teachers and investment in high-quality educators were highlighted as crucial for Europe’s future.

The European Education Strategy ET 2030 aims to strengthen teachers’ skills, promote equal opportunities and inclusion, and reduce school dropout rates. Teachers are expected to demonstrate not only subject competence but also relationship-building skills and conflict management abilities when dealing with students, parents, and colleagues.

This is where the TUTOR project comes in. TUTOR is a European Teacher Academies project that aims to improve equal opportunities and inclusion in secondary education through teacher training that enables them to provide targeted support and individualised guidance to students. Over the next few weeks, the TUTOR partners will submit proposals for national policy recommendations, discuss them with experts and finalise them.

In a further step, the national recommendations will then be compared in roundtables with experts, discussed and condensed into European policy recommendations. Datagame – First Online Meeting

Datagame – First Online Meeting

We are happy to announce the success of our first DataGame project partner online meeting, which took place on Monday, 17 June 2024, and Tuesday, 18 June 2024. This first meeting was an incredible opportunity for all partners to come together, align on project goals, and set the stage for our collaborative journey ahead.

We started the meeting with a short icebreaker activity that energized everyone and set a positive tone for the day. We then moved into the different work packages, such as WP2: Awareness-Raising Brochure. Together, we brainstormed and created engaging scenarios to be included in the brochure, fostering a collaborative spirit among the partners.

This first partner meeting was an important milestone for the DataGame project and laid a strong foundation for our future work. We are excited about the journey ahead and are confident that with such a great team, we will achieve huge success.

Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward with the DataGame project!

EXTOR – Exploring tourism trends in each partner country

Exploring tourism trends in each partner country

To assess the current tourism status in each partner country, we employed a three-step approach:

1. Desk Research: We began with extensive research within our own country, analysing official statistics, reports, and publications to understand current tourism trends and challenges.

2. Focus Groups: Next, we conducted focus groups with VET providers to gather qualitative insights and diverse perspectives.

3. Interviews: Finally, we carried out interviews with rural entrepreneurs to gain deeper insights and formulate comprehensive recommendations for tourism development.

After completing these steps, we now have a detailed understanding of the tourism status in each country. The individual country reports are then combined to create a comprehensive international report, providing a holistic view of the global tourism landscape. This report helps identify common challenges and opportunities, facilitating the development of coordinated strategies to enhance European tourism.
