Erasmus+ Call 2018 is Approaching: Make your Project Shine!

Erasmus+ Call 2018 is Approaching:
Make your Project Shine!

It is time for project-making again for the upcoming Erasmus+ Call 2018. It is not particularly daring to predict that competition for funding will be rather fierce again.

A key success factor will be the quality and attractiveness of the project products. Outputs which do not only provide an answer target groups’ needs but which are user-friendly and look “shiny” are an asset in the selection race.

The media department of die Berater® creates attractive multimedia project products in different formats – learning videos, animated graphics, e-learning courses, mobile learning solutions.

Have a look at our showcase website or arrange a bilateral online presentation with our media experts!

Or join our next bridges to europe Online EU Café: Make your Project Shine!

Date: 01 February 2018, 14:00 (CET)
Registration: To register please click here. Please register by 30 January 2018.

Vocal in Need: Overcoming Comunication Barriers in Integration

Vocal in Need: Overcoming Comunication Barriers in Integration

The recent refugee crisis and increasing mobility between both EU member states and from other parts of the world poses a great challenge to security and agencies who are confronted with people with different cultural backgrounds and who don’t speak the local language. The VOCAL IN NEED project aims to bridge this linguistic and cultural gap by providing an online training and an App for smartphones to better interact with migrants and refugees in the following contexts:

  • Police offices, border control
  • Shelters / residential centres for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers
  • Agencies that provide training, employment or other services for migrants and refugees
At present we are trying to identify the most common and important activities and scenarios which result in communication issues between you and our target groups.

For this purpose we created two online surveys:

If you belong to any of the above-mentioned professional Groups we would be very grateful if you participated in the surves and/or forwardes these links to relevant colleagues and organisations.

To fill in one of the questionnaires will only take a few minutes. Thank you so much!

NETWORLD News Dezember 2017

NETWORLD News Dezember 2017

Training for Empowerment

Training for Empowerment

The empowerment of survivors of domestic violence and the improvement of training approaches in this field of adult education is the focus of the ERASMUS+ project EMPROVE.

From 5-10 November the transnational Train-the-Trainer took place in Gijon (Spain) and hosted the EMPROVE team as well as front-line professionals from seven European countries. Participants had the chance to learn and share expertise in a huge range of areas including emotional intelligence, personal assessment, communication skills, the labour market, and personal mindset. Another important part of the training course was the introduction of the EMPROVE platform – an interactive tool which uses gamification techniques to engage and encourage users and which is developed in close cooperation between the two partners CATRO and die Berater®. Having completed the training course, participants will then provide a national training and introduction to the EMPROVE approach and platform in their respective countries.

Stories of young people told through digital tools

Stories of young people told through digital tools

From 18th to 22nd September 2017 the Tell Your Story training course took place at CESIE in Palermo (Italy). The project involved 18 NEETs – young people who are not in education, employment, or training – from 16 to 25 years and 1 trainer per partner organisation coming from 6 different countries: Austria, France, Italy, Slovenia, UK and Belgium.

The youngsters, selected for their common early school leaving experience, had the opportunity to spend 5 intensive days sharing their stories through several tools. They were able to learn about what storytelling means and which are the ways to tell a story, focusing then on digital storytelling.

Network Recommendations on Learning Guidance in Work-Based Learning

Network Recommendations on Learning Guidance in Work-Based Learning

Interest, need and participation in work-based learning (WBL) have steadily increased in Europe in recent years. This is partly a direct response to policy-level targets and priorities and partly a natural reflection of the changing nature of the workforce and the workplace. The project “Level-up! Workplace Tutor goes Europe” aims at increased professionalism and improved qualification of in-company VET personnel as one of the key actors of work-based learning.

Furthermore, the project is currently initiating a European stakeholder debate on issues concerning VET policy. In their recent publication “Network Recommendations on Learning Guidance in Work-Based Learning” the project partners reflect developments in the partner countries of the Level Up! project, and discuss the roles of the key actors in the implementation of WBL at different levels of education and in different types of organisations and workplaces. The brochure also provides examples of good practices in arranging work-based learning and guidance from around Europe.

You can download the brochure here.
