Final Conference and Exhibition:

With a sense of fulfilment and joy, we met in Göttingen in September 22 for the final conference of our Climate Box project. On the topic of “Open learning and development spaces for sustainability and local development”, we joined other exciting projects and local initiatives under the umbrella of REVEAL – a European network that promotes open, competence-based learning.
More than 100 European and local guests were able to exchange ideas and get inspired about climate change and sustainability in a highly interactive programme with an exhibition of 25 exhibits, workshops and panel discussions.
The hybrid-guided exhibition presented a well-coordinated mix of state-of-the-art sustainable products and services, SDG management formats, educational opportunities, heritage conservation initiatives and much more.
The virtual part of the exhibition can be visited here.
“Unbox It” – was the motto once again at the Climate Box exhibition stand. Packed in boxes, visitors found small entertaining climate-related tasks that got them thinking and discussing.

Climate Box coordinator Sabine Wiemann after the event: “An absolutely successful conclusion to our successful project. With this event, we have certainly also set an example of how conferences can become an active and activating event that offers space for exchange and creative ideas. And in terms of sustainability, it also offers something to look at afterwards – the online exhibition.”
