During 2 weeks through classes, visits and workshops, the participants have not only learnt more about green energy but also boosted their soft skills, such as their communication and intercultural skills, improving their technical English and getting used to work and share ideas with people from other countries.
The nursing profession and other social and health professions are affected, especially in the last decade, by a constantly changing work environment. The European integration process, the economic crisis of recent years, combined with a growing phenomenon of migration, significantly affect the health care sector. The Pulse 2.0 project is built on the understanding that due to the demographic changes and a Europe-wide shortage of trained medical staff, the ability to move within the EU is a vital prerequisite for nursing staff at any level, employers, training institutions, national organizations and businesses. The project aims at the improvement and assessment of language, communicative and cultural competences of nursing assistant and caregivers who work or plan to work in a foreign country by using innovative methods of learning and assessment based on digital tools.
