IS MOTHERHOOD AN ASSET?

IS MOTHERHOOD AN ASSET?

Are you interested in transversal skills acquired through motherhood and how to use them in the context of the labor market? Would you like to know more about leveraging gender equality through upskilling pathways? We’ve got just the thing!

The MOVE-UP project develops a flexible and quality upskilling pathway for women who are dedicating most of their time and efforts to the role of mother and who are in need to (re)join education activities and the job market.

As the project is approaching its end, we still have one event we’d like to invite you to – our final conference in Porto, that you can also participate in online. The conference will take place on December 3rd 2024, from 10.30 to 17.00h CET.

During the conference, we’ll discuss the MOVE UP project, its results and key take-aways through inputs from our project partners. This will be followed by a panel discussion on Best Practices and Policy Recommendations for Gender Equality in Adult Education and an interactive session discussing the experimentation with the MOVE UP Toolkit for self-assessment and evaluation of competences.

Please find the Registration form (including the Zoom call link) for the MOVE UP final conference here

We look forward to seeing you there!

The far-reaching consequences of fake news on our society

The far-reaching consequences of fake news on our society

Fake news presents a serious challenge to modern democracies, distorting facts, fostering social fragmentation, and eroding public trust in institutions.

With the proliferation of social media and increasingly fragmented news ecosystems, disinformation spreads rapidly, influencing political dynamics, economic stability, and individual perceptions.

This paper examines the far-reaching consequences of fake news on society, underscoring the urgent need for strategic action to curb its expanding influence.

MOVE-UP Webinar – Designing learner-centered upskilling initiatives: from outreach, to self-assessment and customized training

MOVE-UP initiative results support the design and implementation of learner-centred upskilling initiatives with a focus on inclusion and accessibility.
