TAC online Trainer available

We are excited to announce the release of our newsletter, giving some insight into our project TAC and what has happened so far!

One main point is our new online trainer developed as part of our project.

This online trainer is designed to support teachers and promote an inclusive mindset, equipping them with effective strategies to support students with ADHD in an inclusive school setting.

The online trainer offers practical considerations for shaping everyday school life and includes four comprehensive units:

• Background
• Classroom Management
• Relationships
• Learning Experience

Each unit provides evidence-based information that is adaptable to both primary and secondary school environments.
Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate confirming their further education on the subject of ADHD in the classroom. This valuable resource aims to enhance teachers’ abilities to create a supportive learning environment for all students, particularly those with ADHD.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enhance your skills and make a positive impact in your classroom.

Transnational report – SENSE

Transnational report – SENSE

Child and adolescent mental health is a growing concern globally.

Teachers, particularly those in secondary schools, play a crucial role in supporting students’ well-being and identifying early signs of mental health issues.

That’s why SENSE is determined to offer a comprehensive training program for secondary school teachers.

Additionally, based on its research, SENSE has created a transnational report to compare performance, identify global trends, promote collaboration, and enhance transparency across partner countries: Austria, Belgium, Spain, and Germany.

Additionally, it provides prevalence rates of mental illnesses among adolescents in the participating countries, methodologies for mental health prevention and well-being, and a review of best practices.

If you want to learn more, you can check out the transnational report here

Senseforschools – Why SENSE?

Did you know that adolescents account for a staggering 13% of the global burden of mental disorders? Many of these challenges begin in adolescence, emphasizing the critical need for prevention, early detection, and intervention.

WHY IT MATTERS: The teenage years are a crucial time when mental health problems are more likely to emerge. To address this, it’s essential to prevent and detect these challenges early on.

Adolescents’ well-being is the foundation for a healthier adulthood. Schools play an important role in promoting mental health and well-being. Early identification and preventive measures are essential.

That’s why SENSE is on a mission to provide in-service training for secondary school teachers. We want to equip teachers with the knowledge, resources, and skills they need to promote, prevent, and intervene early in students’ mental health.
