The start of the piloting: Trainer-Meeting

On 17^th January the first meeting with the trainers took place at the die Berater Training Centre. The involved 10 trainers got introduced to the Erasmus+ project DEQF and learned about the piloting that they will do in the next months. They will try to integrate various tools and techniques in their courses with the goal to improve the quality standards in Online- and Face-to-Face training and also to learn from the experiences from Distance Learning from pandemic times.

End-of-the-year online meeting for CONVOLUT!

It was lovely meeting the CONVOLUT partners online just before the holidays on the 20^th December!

The consortium took this opportunity to look back at our achievements in the project throughout 2022 and discussed out optimistic outlook on the activities to come in 2023! We are excited to start into the new year, continuing our fruitful, joint work on adapting the ProfilPASS as a competence assessment tool for people at the beginning of retirement!

The script: From the idea to the video

After having finalised the training course, we are now working on the scripts to get a step closer to the realisation of our final videos. In Vienna the Austrian project partner die Berater has found 8 participants that are now working on their individual scripts telling us more about how they see culture.

A script is the base for the future video. It is the plot, the story, that someone wants to tell and that will be then the main content of the video. It is important that the scripts are written in an easy language avoiding too complicated and long sentences. That’s important because it will be then spoken language – as part of the videos.

Let’s be prepared to discover soon more about the individual stories from our eight participants – we are looking forward to the result, eight videos that show the variety of culture and so also the variety of our world and Europe.

Food should not be a threat to sustainability, but a source of sustainable development.

I.CE.A on the web

The I.CE.A (“Investing on Circular Economy through Adults”) project aims to offer high quality learning and networking opportunities responding to the needs of adults wishing to dynamically engage in circular economy activities. Transnational Project Meeting VET-ECOoking

We want to share some impressions from our last transnational project meeting for the VET-ECOoking project. It took place in Vienna on the 4th and 5th of October.

The partners had very fruitful discussions about the finalised project activities, namely the research on existing curricula and good practices on sustainable cooking and the interviews that were conducted with more than 100 people in relevant food fields.

We also talked about the next steps and started planning the roundtables with experts in VET training, environmental sustainability and gastronomy industry.

Digital Cultural Ambassadors for more intercultural dialogue!

In a strongly connected world the importance of real intercultural dialogue and the knowledge about other continents and countries is every day more important.

The Erasmus+ project DICA is trying to form digital Cultural Ambassadors that will give new insights in different cultures based on individual stories.

We asked in Austria 8 persons, what means culture for them and how their origin is influencing their identity.

Based on the individual stories we are creating now animated videos, that will give insights in various cultures.
