PULSE 2.0: Sprachkompetenzen für ausländische Pflegekräfte in Österreich erheben und bewerten
Das im November gestartete EU-Projekt Pulse 2.0 zielt auf die Verbesserung und Bewertung der sprachlichen, kommunikativen und kulturellen Kompetenzen von PflegeassistInnen und HeimhelferInnen aus dem Ausland ab, die in Österreich arbeiten wollen oder bereits hier arbeiten. Zum Einsatz kommen dabei innovative Lern- und Bewertungsmethoden auf der Grundlage digitaler Werkzeuge.
In einer Recherche in der Startphase des Projekts möchte das Projektteam den Status Quo zu berufsbezogenen Sprachlernangeboten und der Messung der Sprachkompetenz für Pflege(fach)assistentInnen / HeimhelferInnen) aus dem Ausland erheben, sowie Best Practice Beispiele identifizieren.

In the framework of the EU-Project CIM (Creativity and Innovation management in Higher Education, cim-project.eu) University teachers and trainers met in Palermo to learn more about teaching approaches in Creativity and Innovation.
Instead of doing Christmas shopping in the second week of December, approx. 40 participants joined the 5-day training to work in teams on innovative and sustainable project ideas, develop concepts and strategies to implement innovation into different contexts. die Berater® and CATRO Bulgaria were represented by two teams of trainers and students, collecting ideas and inspiration for future leaning projects inside and outside their organisations.
Im Projekt EUYOUTH4HEALTH werden Elemente zur Verbesserung, Erweiterung und Bereicherung von Ausbildungsprogrammen, die die Berufsbildungsinstitute und Ausbilder im Bereich der Gesundheitsförderung selbst entwickelt haben, bereitgestellt. Junge Menschen werden Teil des Projektes und zwar durch die Schaffung eines innovativen Trainingsprogrammes, das sich an Arbeitssuchende im Alter von 23-30 Jahre richtet und auf digitale Kommunikation und Marketing sowie die Entwicklung von Partnerschaften mit Unternehmen, die im Bereich der Gesundheitsprävention tätig sind, abzielt. Die Bildungsträger oder ausgebildeten Fachkräfte/Trainer vermitteln den jungen Teilnehmer*innen relevante Fähigkeiten bezüglich digitalen Marketing- und Kommunikationsstrategien.

2020 will be very exciting, too. Next year will be devoted to preparations for the new EU funding programme period from 2021 onwards, with many new opportunities for participation and presumably significantly increased budgets. We will try to make use of these opportunities with an enlarged team and with you!
Auch 2020 wird sehr spannend. Das nächste Jahr wird im Zeichen der Vorbereitung auf die neue EU-Förderprogrammperiode ab 2021 stehen, mit vielen neuen Beteiligungschancen bei voraussichtlich deutlich erhöhten Budgets. At St.H, in Palermo and at Heliotec, in La Vall D’Uixo, the learners coming from Italy, Greece and Denmark improved their knowledge and competences on renewable energies through the expert guide of their company mentors. During 2 weeks through classes, visits and workshops, the participants have not only learnt more about green energy but also boosted their soft skills, such as their communication and intercultural skills, improving their technical English and getting used to work and share ideas with people from other countries.
The nursing profession and other social and health professions are affected, especially in the last decade, by a constantly changing work environment. The European integration process, the economic crisis of recent years, combined with a growing phenomenon of migration, significantly affect the health care sector. The Pulse 2.0 project is built on the understanding that due to the demographic changes and a Europe-wide shortage of trained medical staff, the ability to move within the EU is a vital prerequisite for nursing staff at any level, employers, training institutions, national organizations and businesses. The project aims at the improvement and assessment of language, communicative and cultural competences of nursing assistant and caregivers who work or plan to work in a foreign country by using innovative methods of learning and assessment based on digital tools.
