SUFOGIS Project started!
die Berater® hosted the kick-off meeting of SUFOGIS, an exciting new EU knowledge transfer project with partners from Russian and China on the one hand, and Greece, Finland and Austria on the other hand.
SUFOGIS shares EU knowledge with four higher education institutions in Russian and China with regard to the use of Geo Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) in sustainable forestry and agriculture. In general, university-business cooperation in this area is to be strengthened. Students as well as staff of Chinese and Russian universities will be trained. die Berater contributes to the project its expertise in knowledge management, education and training, media production and quality management of EU projects

Recommendations on holistic vocationalism
Level Up! – one of the projects that die Berater® has been involved with as internal evaluator over the last three years – is coming to an end.
To carry forward the ideas discussed and developed in the project, the partnership has recently published a discussion paper on holistic vocationalism. This educational concept roots in the conceptions that apprentices and employees ought to be empowered to reflect their working conditions, to recognise the social and ecologi¬cal consequences of their work, to accept their rights and entitlements and to contribute to shaping their work.
